David Smith

Principal & Managing Attorney

David Smith has been practicing law since 2000, following a successful career as a computer consultant and manager of a computer department for an insurance company. He earned his Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law in 1999, where he was actively involved in innovative projects that bridged the gap between technology and the law, including e-discovery and computer forensics.



With over 18 years of legal experience, David focuses his practice on consumer and commercial law, representing both individuals and businesses. He has extensive experience in debtor representation for bankruptcy proceedings under Chapters 7, 11, and 13. Beyond his bankruptcy work, David also practices in a variety of other areas, including personal injury, real estate, employment law, corporate formation and dissolution, transactional law, internet law, and e-commerce.

David maintains a high rating on Avvo.com, reflecting his dedication to professional excellence and client service. He and his team are also committed to giving back, regularly volunteering and providing pro bono legal services within the community. Outside the office, David enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, skiing, playing tennis, reading, and exploring all things science fiction.
